Pooches at Home, a thriving House sitting & Pet sitting agency, was founded by two women who had a shared love for animals and a desire to start their own business. It all began when they realised that there was a gap in the market for pet owners who needed someone reliable to care for their pets while they were away. They saw that people were often hesitant to leave their dogs in kennels or catteries,  and so they decided to start their own pet-sitting service.

 

With Kids having flown the nest, these two women had no commitments that would hold them back and they were determined to make their business a success.  They new they had to expand their business, so they started hiring other like-minded animal lovers to help them.

The reason why Pooches at Home has become so successful is because of their focus on personalised service. They have made a conscious decision to keep their business small, which means that they can provide personalised care to each and every home and pet owner. They believe that every dog is unique and has their own individual needs, and so they take the time to get to know each pet and their owner to ensure that they are providing the best possible care.
